Leg Warmers & Lycra Event
Thursday 5th February
The Club is delighted to announce the success of our recent Leg Warmers and Lycra Event on Thursday 29th January.
This exciting event was a celebration of Time Out Magazine’s 40th Anniversary as well as the completion of the Club’s £2.6million transformation.
The club was filled with Time Out readers, existing members and a number of VIP’s, including Jerry Sutcliffe, the Minister for Sport. Everyone was invited to participate in a variety of mixed fitness activities from throughout the last 30 years of fitness, including “Flex Appeal” Yoga classes and “Wheel Appeal” in our brand new Cycle Studio.
Barry Cronin, Executive Director of the Central YMCA Club, said: “We were delighted that both existing members, alongside many people who have never experienced the unique environment of the Club before, were able to join us to celebrate this milestone. We are delighted that all our members old and new can benefit from the outstanding new facilities.”
